When to Use This Information
This guide is useful when you want to invite students to your Canva for Education class. It covers the available methods for sending invitations and how new students can get started.

Overview
In Canva for Education, teachers can invite students to their class to use Canva as a teaching tool. This guide explains how to invite students with the Canva for Education feature set.

Step-by-Step Guide
Here's how you can invite class members:

  1. From the Homepage, go to Settings.
  2. Click on the People tab.
  3. Choose one of the following methods to invite students:
- **Invite via Share Link**: Generate an invite link and send it to the students you want to invite.
- **Invite via Email**: Enter each student’s email address manually and send the invitations.
- **Invite via Code**: Use a code for students who don’t have access to their emails. They will be added with a student role.
- **Import Google Classroom**: Import your Google Classroom contacts into Canva for Education. This allows you to invite all students from a class at once. To do this, click Account Settings, go to People, select Import Google Classroom, log in with your Google Classroom email, and choose the class to import.

Students Without an Invite
If a student hasn't received an invite and is new to Canva, they need to sign up using their school email address. We will display a list of schools matching their email address they can request to join. Their school team admin will then accept or reject their request.
- If the email address matches a school district, they can log in for instant access.
- If no match is found, they can enter their teacher’s email to notify about the free access to Canva for Education.
