You have the ability to connect your own data sources directly to Canva, allowing for seamless automation of data into your design templates. This guide will walk you through the steps to set this up and begin autofilling your designs.

How to Connect Your Apps for Data Autofill:

Step 1: Setting Up Your Connection
  • Start by selecting a template or design for bulk creation.
  • From the editor panel, go to 'Apps'.
  • In the 'More from Canva' section, choose 'Data Autofill'.
  • Select 'Custom' to link your data source.
  • Follow the prompts to finalize the connection.

Step 2: Adding Data Fields
  • Choose elements on your design that you want to use as data fields.
  • Click 'Data Field' from the floating toolbar.
  • Assign a name to the data field that reflects your information.
  • Press 'Add' and repeat these steps for any additional data fields.

Step 3: Publishing Your Design
  • Once your fields are set, click 'Publish as Brand Template'.
  • Pick your publishing option and hit 'Publish and Close'.
