How to Download Your Design Files
This guide is perfect for helping you understand the different file types and options available when downloading your designs from Canva.
Overview:
With Canva, you can download your designs in various formats to best suit your needs. Whether you’re working with images, documents, or videos, there’s a suitable option for you to consider.
Image Downloads:
If you’re working with images, you have the option to download your design with a transparent background. This feature is especially useful for logo design and is available to Canva Pro, Teams, Education, and Nonprofits users. Keep in mind you can also easily remove the backgrounds from images to better fit your project.
Document Downloads:
When you need your designs in document form, you can download them as either PDF or PPTX files. This preserves the quality of images or elements in your design and ensures they don’t break on export.
Video and GIF Downloads:
To download your designs as videos or GIFs, simply select the desired format. Note that if an error icon appears on your video while downloading, it may indicate an issue.
Separate Video Pages:
You can also download video pages separately on the web, desktop app, or Android app, but this option is not available on iOS as of now.
Design Selection Downloads:
Need to download just a part of your design? You can easily choose which sections to save onto your computer or mobile device.
