Overview of Download Limits for Videos and GIFs

When to Use This Information:
This guide is here to help you understand the limits on video and GIF downloads based on your Canva subscription. Whether you're using the free version or have a Canva Pro subscription, this page will clarify what you can download.

Download Limits:
  1. **Video Downloads**:
- **Free Users:** You can download videos up to 30 minutes long with a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.
- **Pro Users:** You can download videos up to 2 hours long with a maximum resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels.

  1. **GIF Downloads**:
- **Free Users:** You can download GIFs up to 1 minute long with a maximum resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels.
- **Pro Users:** You can download GIFs up to 2 minutes long with a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.

Important Note on Exceeding Limits:
If your video or GIF exceeds these limits, a banner will notify you of the cap. Don't worry—you can still share your design or watch link with others. Free users can consider upgrading to Canva Pro if they frequently need longer downloads.

Pro Users Workaround:
If the length of your video or GIF exceeds the Pro limit, you'll receive a notification reminding you of the download cap. As a solution, you can always share the link, allowing others to view your masterpiece seamlessly.

We hope this information helps you manage your downloads effectively. If you have further questions or need additional clarity, feel free to let us know! We're here to assist you whenever you need.
