Getting Started with Quick Actions
Using Quick Actions on a Computer:
- Click on the Quick Actions button, or press “/” on your keyboard. On a Mac, you can also use CMD + E, and on Windows, use CTRL + E.
- As you type in what you’re looking for, suggestions will appear instantly.
- Navigate through these suggestions with your arrow keys or by scrolling. For more options, select “Show More” or “See All” to open the side panel.
- Once you find what you’re looking for, hit ENTER to choose it.
Using Quick Actions on Mobile:
- Open a document in the Docs application.
- Tap the Quick Actions button located on the bottom menu bar.
- Type what you seek and let the available suggestions guide you as they pop up.
- Scroll through the options and tap to select your desired action or element.

- Effortlessly search for elements, graphics, photos, templates, and videos.
- Receive personalized design recommendations tailored just for your work.
