Why Might You See a Charge Before Your Free Trial Ends?
If you've noticed a charge a day before your free trial was supposed to end, here's why:

When to Use This Information
You might find this information helpful if you're wondering about an unexpected charge during your Canva free trial.

Understanding the Billing Process
Canva's billing method operates on Greenwich Mean Time (GMT). This timing may lead to experiences where charges appear to have been made earlier than expected. This means that if your trial was set to end today based on your local time, it might end earlier when calculated in GMT.

What to Do If You Want to Keep Your Subscription
If you find the charge acceptable and wish to continue with the paid subscription, there’s no further action needed on your part. You can keep enjoying the features without interruption.

What to Do If You Wanted to Cancel Before the Trial Ended
If your intention was to cancel the subscription a day before the trial ended, but you were charged due to the timezone difference, we have processed a refund as a courtesy. You are now switched back to Canva's standard free version, and future charges will not occur.

Please note, your bank may take 10-20 business days to reflect the refunded amount in your account due to their internal procedures.
