Understanding Email Address Usage on Multiple Canva Accounts

When Should You Use This Guide?
If you’d like to use your email address for a different Canva account, this guide will help you manage your email changes smoothly. Remember, each email address can only be associated with one Canva account at a time.

How to Change Your Email Address

If You Have Access to Your Account:
To align your email with another Canva account, you will first need to update your current account’s email.
Here's how to do it:

1. Visit Account Settings by clicking the gear icon on the homepage.
2. In the Account tab, find your email address and click Edit.
3. Enter your password and confirm it.
4. Input a new email address that isn’t currently registered with Canva.
5. Tap Save Changes.

You will get a confirmation email at the new address. Make sure to confirm the change by selecting Confirm Email Address in the email.

Without Access to a Password:
If you initially set up your account through Facebook and don’t have a password, you’ll need to create one to change your email address.

Follow these steps:

1. Head to Account Settings using the gear icon.
2. In the Login & Security section, click Update next to Password.
3. Set your new password and confirm it.
4. Save Changes.

After setting up a password, repeat the steps above to input a new email address.

For Accounts Created Through Google:
You do not need to set up a password before changing your email.
